I got a nice note from Ryan Tomazin, who is keeper of the archives of
the Brooks Bird Club (West Virginia). He had read my post to this list
about Hicks, and was kind enough to send me a batch of 12 photos and a
letter from Hicks, some with folks like RT Peterson and other worthies,
which I can pass along on request. Hicks died 60 years ago, and I
imagine few readers of this message knew him. I'll be glad to pass the
items along to folks on request. Thomazin tells me he has many photos
and letters from Ohioans in the old days, and kindly would be glad to
share them with folks who have an interest in them: [log in to unmask]
