O.O.S. is looking for someone to take over the duties of the Ohio-birds
listserv administrator. I’ve been doing it for way too long, and I’m ready
to hand it off to someone else.  This takes only a couple of minutes a day
at most, and many days nothing is needed. However, it does require that you
check your email several times daily, so that when someone’s account has
been hacked and spam is being posted, it can be stopped quickly. You also
would need to respond to questions from listserv members about various
things, which I will be able to help you with.



The touchiest part of the job is dealing with posts that are not spam, but
are objectionable for other reasons. This comes up a couple of times a
year, and you would be able to check with the O.O.S. board before dealing
with those issues.



Please respond to me directly, and I’ll forward the names of volunteers to
the O.O.S. board.
