Hit a couple of my usual spots in Lawrence County the past few days..
Birds of note were:
9 Wilson’s Snipe and a lone Tree Sparrow at Proctorville Park.
Bufflehead, Hooded Merganser, and Greater Scaup at the old Proctorville Driving Range.
American Coot seen at the nearby pond on the Abundant Life Church property.
Red-breasted Merganser on the Ohio River near Symmes Creek, across the river from Harris Riverfront Park in Huntington, WV.
Hoping for more new year birds in the coming days!
