I birded Ault this morning. This is Mt. Lookout section of Cin.
1 or 2 miles from my house. I started along the open areas.
I am sure will be hopping when migration gets rolling!
Had one flock of about 40 Jays heading north. And one
Yellow-rumped Warbler. 2 RC Kinglets. WT Sparrows. These
are all wintering and or migrants. I am assuming Parula breeds
here? Anyway, I had 11 - mostly along the Valley Trail. I birded a lot
of trails after the open areas.
Nature notes - only Trillium I found was Toadshade along the Ridge
Trail.
Good birding all. Time to tackle my garden again!
