It was a treat to see a half dozen Eastern Bluebirds in the Mill Stream
Run Reservation today while cross-country skiing today on the bridle
trail between the covered bridge on Eastland Rd. and the railroad
overpass over Valley Pkwy. A couple of them dropped down to the river
to drink out of the few open water areas. Also, several Canvasbacks and
Redheads and a Bufflehead have been hanging out in the southwestern cove
of Coe Lake, a nice change from the usual Mallards and Canadian Geese.
