Blendon Woods - Had a single crow flying above the tree line. His path came close to a Cooper's Hawk which decided to engage the crow.
The aerial ballet lasted just a couple of seconds with the two large birds going their separate ways.

A doe and her three offspring were feeding just 10-15 feet from the trail, and other than staring at me as I went by, did not seem to be concerned about my proximity. On my return past them the doe was nursing 2 of the young deer - they were almost as tall as the mother, already had lost the spots of a fawn.
