We had made the changes to our application...then the feds changed their
minds so many times, the administration wanted to wait. I believe it is
time to re address the issue. However, my concern now is getting some kind
of reasonable comparison between the new 2000 census data and the data we
have in our system which does not reflect the census ethnicity changes.

Thanks,

Lu

Subject: Re: Ethnicity/Race Question

Colleagues
It occurs to me as I watch all these campuses making no changes in reporting
on
ethnicity that the first change will have to be made in the application
forms used
by campuses. I suspect those are ordered a year or so in advance. Is
anyone
changing their application form templates expected to be used in a year or
so?
