Cathy,

At the College of Mount St. Joseph, we calculate FTEs as follows:

Undergraduate: Full time (12 hours or more) headcount + [part time credit
hours/12]
Graduate: Total credit hours/9

Subject: FTE calculations

Dear list: My Academic Dean has requested that I find out how FTE is
calculated for
graduate and undergraduate students--that is, the number of hours that are
considered to be full time, for the purposes of calculating FTE graduate,
FTE
undergraduate. For those of you who are state-assisted, how does this
compare to
how HEI computes FTE?

Please provide your calendar (semester or quarter) and the number of hours
considered full time for undergraduate and if applicable, graduate students.

He is especially interested in hearing from Dayton, Muskingum, Ashland,
Tiffin,
Malone and Xavier.

Thanks in advance!

And wasn't the Fall Meeting great! Thanks to the presenters and to Larry
for a job
well done!
