Good morning and thank you for your responses regarding race/ethnicity.
I have another question. As of now, Lorain County Community College has 3
semesters, each with several sub-terms, we have full term offerings, 10 week
offerings, 2 eight week offerings, and 3 five week offerings...Therefore we
have 4 census dates (the usual 15th day and 3 sets of flex scheduled). With
the expansion of distance learning, there are new proposals on the table.
The first is to add 5 sets of 3 week offerings, another is to have courses
that would be 1 academic year long, and the final is to have continual
enrollment in work at your own pace offerings.
Has anyone else experienced any of this and how do you capture your data? I
understand there are a couple institutions that offer courses that last a
year. Do you count them in the fall for enrollment purposes? Or do you
make 3 separate sections (one for each major semester)?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Lu
