board as of yet. They are still accepting applicants for the position.
Fire Safety
Ohio University
The responsibilities are to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws,
rules and regulations associated with fire safety at Ohio University.
Position requires a through understanding of fire safety/regulations,
electrical and water flow principles as they relate to the fire safety
systems. Must be able to obtain a Public Operating License to purchase and
apply restricted pesticides. Excellent verbal communications is a very
important part of the job. This position requires a minimum of a Bachelor
of Science degree in Fire Safety Engineering or related field. A year of
supervisory experience working in insect and rodent control is desired.
Education includes certified courses in the fire alarm and suppression
