Dear New Member Educators, Chapter Presidents, and Standards Chairs:

This is a reminder that this Sunday 3/4 and Monday 3/5, the Rick Barnes
'Drink Think' program will be taking place. This is MANDATORY program for
all sorority and fraternity new members.

Just a reminder of the mandatory policy:

For each new member that misses the chapter will be fined $25 and the new
member will have to attend an alcohol education class (TIPS). If more than
10% of your new member pledge class is not in attendance the entire
chapter may be placed on social probation or suspension. If the situation
comes to this, the matter will be handed over to Standards Board.

New Member Educators: please arrive early with your new members for your
assigned time. There is no need for new members to bring their IDs
anymore--we will be taking attendance on a 'sign out' sheet. The new
members should arrive and find their seats as soon as possible so that we
can start the program on time. At the conclusion of the program every new
member will need to write (legibly) their name and the chapter name on a
'sign out' sheet. There will be separate fraternity and sorority tables.
This process is really quite simple, but I ask in advance that you are
patient as I recognize this will take a little bit of time. Make sure your
new members DO NOT leave without signing out--this is the only way
they/your chapter will get credit for them being in attendance.

This is truly going to be a great program! Please make it your personal
responsibility to make sure all of your new members will be in attendance.
