Subject: SAS Data Mining Workshop - Feb. 21, 2008

A consultant from SAS will be at Miami to present a workshop on data mining and the SAS Enterprise Miner tool on Thursday, February 21, 2008.  This will be an all day workshop will start at 8:30 AM and will be held in 110 King Library.

Here is a description of the workshop provided by SAS:

This workshop serves as an introduction to data mining and SAS Enterprise Miner software. It is designed for data analysts and qualitative experts as well as those with less of a technical background who want a general understanding of data mining. The workshop provides an initial hands-on experience with SAS Enterprise Miner. It covers the basic skills required to assemble analyses using the rich tool set of SAS Enterprise Miner. You learn how to train, assess, and compare predictive models.

This workshop is being sponsored by the Center for the Advancement of Computational Research, Miami University Libraries, and the Research Computing Services unit of IT Services.
