Hi,

It looks like your account is now setup - can you try again? The process to actually create accounts runs periodically, and you may have tried to login before the account setup finished.

Can you tell me a little more about what you want to use the cluster for, or just some more info about your research? If there are specific software packages you use, that would be good info. If you write your own software, what languages, tools, etc. do you use?

Also, what times are you available to meet? We have a couple of people out of the office this week, so next week is probably the earliest we can meet, but we may be able to provide some help by e-mail.

Dave

Subject: redhawk cluster help

On the website I noticed the following statement "We can provide individual consulting on using the cluster and would be happy to talk to you about how the Redhawk cluster can aid your research."
How do I go about scheduling such a consultation?

In the meantime I tried to get started, but it seems that I am unable to login. I activated my cluster account via the link on the webpage and then used the command ssh redhawk.hpc.muohio.edu as stated in the connecting to the redhawk cluster using a mac" guide, but I get the message "Connection closed by 10.0.93.15"

Thanks
