The easiest way to allow job submission from compute nodes is:

1 - create a ".rhosts" file on each user account with the names of 
all of the compute nodes

2 - create a hosts.equiv file in etc (on all nodes).

Question: which one is easier for the users?

I created my .rhosts file and I was able to run autostructure using a 
batch job.
