Subject: head node usage stats
Hi guys,
For various reasons, we’ll need to provide some stats on resource usage to administrators over the next few months. Jaime’s already given me a list of top 24 users and 12 departments for the RedHawk cluster, as measured for PBS usage. However, the cluster has over 150 user accounts representing current faculty, students, and academic department staff, and a fair number of these people spend most of their time on the head node. Is there some way to find out how many CPU hours have been logged by these people on the head node itself (e.g., month by month, or year-to-date)? If such a record isn’t already being kept, would it be possible to set it up so that it is?
Thanks,
Steve
