Attn: All Health Professionals and Community
On Friday, April 20, 2007 in the Ward’s Center Ballroom at Central
State University, Wilberforce, Ohio there will be held the “Interactive
Health Fair.” The hours for the event will be 12pm to 4pm. This event
is sponsored by CSU HPER Club, CSU HPER Department, CSU Health Center,
and Greene Memorial Hospital.

This event is FREE to the public but definitely wanting all students,
faculty and administration to stop in. This event is un- like most
health fairs you attend, where you receive only a pamphlet and flyer
from companies, but at many of the booths you will receive screening
for medical conditions. Special screenings will include High Blood
Pressure, Cholesterol, Glucose and others. Some well known companies
such as Greene Memorial Hospital and the American Heart Association
will be in attendance.

Other great features will be the career section which will include
representatives from the Armed Forces Medical Corps (Army, Navy, and
Air Force). Students can ask questions in regards to Nursing or Medical
careers. We will also be featuring a special guest that currently
trains professional Athletes in the area and is a point of contact for
many sports agents. So to all athletes that are interested in turning
pro, this is a great opportunity to meet former Cincinnati Bengal
Richard Carey, owner of Personal Trainers World. Also on display will
be very informative information presented by CSU HPER majors.

For all students interested in going to medical school, Wright State
University Medical School students will be in attendance to answer
questions about medical school. Hearing it from students prospective is
always beneficial.

FOR ALL VETERANS on campus and off campus, Greene County Veterans’
Services will be in attendance to assist veterans with any new benefits
or even sign them up to meet with a Veterans Service Officer for
assistance. Tables hosting CSU Honors Programs and Honor Societies will
be present to answer questions in regards to their programs.

promote better health with CSU.

We are inviting all students, parents, family and friends to come
