African American and African Studies: Assistant Professor - Public Policy/Religion. The Ohio State University Department of African American and African Studies invites applications for a tenure-eligible assistant professor in Public Policy/Religion. We are looking for a candidate whose research and teaching commitments examine the role of Religion and Public Policy in African American and African life. Preference will be given to candidates who bring comparative or international perspectives to their work. The successful candidate will teach both undergraduate and graduate courses. The department offers an undergraduate major and minor, M.A. and a graduate minor. The appointment will begin in Autumn 2009.
