Reginald Fennell, professor of kinesiology and health<http://www.units.muohio.edu/EAP/knh/>, and Christopher Escue, coordinator of Miami University's Mobile Health Unit<http://www.miami.muohio.edu/news/article/view/13093.html>, have been recognized by the American College Health Association (ACHA) for their contributions and efforts toward college health in Ohio as well as on Miami's campus.

Fennell has earned the Clifford B. Reifler Award for Outstanding Contributions to the Journal of American College Health. He has served as the executive editor for seven years and has been working with the ACHA for more than two decades. This award celebrates his “vast commitment” and “leadership, integrity and scholarship” in his role as editor. Fennel was president of ACHA 2003-2004 and president of the Ohio College Health Association from 1996-1999. Fennell was a driving force behind Miami acquiring the Mobile Health Unit.

Escue received the 2012 ACHA Affiliate New Professional Award from the Ohio College Health Association. This award recognizes ACHA members who have provided service to the field of college health for five or less years, and who have made significant contributions to their institutions. The Mobile Health Unit offered clinical services to students on and off campus, including parking uptown in evenings to make the health programming and services accessible. Student peer educators with the Mobile Health Unit also coordinated a campaign to reduce texting while driving<http://www.miami.muohio.edu/news/article/view/13451.html>, among others.
