A Jazz Piano Christmas 10; Saturday, December 22, 7-8 am, 2-3 pm
        Dianne Reeves hosts this collection of Jazz Piano Christmases 
past, dedicated to the memory of previous host Mel Tormé. Featured 
artists include: Dick Hyman, Diana Krall, Chucho Valdes, Joanne 
Brackeen, Cyrus Chestnut, Kenny Barron, and Shirley Horn.

A Jazz Piano Christmas 12; Saturday, December 22, 3-4 pm; Sunday, 
December 23, 7-8 am
        Nancy Wilson hosts the latest incarnation of this NPR jazz 
tradition. This year's lineup of jazz stars performing their unique 
and highly individual stylings of holiday favorites include Billy 
Taylor, Roger Kellaway, Michael Feinstein, Barbara Carroll, and Karin 
Allyson.

A Change of Season: Stories of Holiday Traditions, Memories, and 
Meaning; Sunday, December 23, 4-5 pm
        There are elements in the holiday season that connect us all. 
"A Change of Season" uses documentary vignettes to reflect on the 
search for common threads in several uncommon stories about the 
winter holidays. Produced by: WKSU.

Almost Christmas (An Almost Monday Special); Sunday, December 23, 6-9 pm
        An eclectic mix of Christmas music, including acoustic, jazz, 
blues and world music. Hosted by Miami University students who 
normally present Almost Monday every Sunday evening.

        An Interconnected Christmas. A special recorded version of 
our show with reflections on the meaning and practice of Christmas 
from nine of today's most forward-thinking thinkers. Featured

        No talk shows today; just a whole day of the best in jazz, 
with a holiday flavor.

        Hour two: Washington Post Book World editor Marie Arana tells 
of growing up between two continents and two cultures. Her memoir 
"American Chica" (Dial) is about her childhood as daughter of a

Fresh Air with Terry Gross (noon - 1pm); re-broadcast
        A tribute to lyricist DOROTHY FIELDS. She wrote the songs "On 
the Sunny Side of the Street," "The Way you Look Tonight," "A Fine 
Romance" and many others. It's the beginning of a week long encore 
presentation of the American Popular Song series.

Public Interest with Kojo Nnamdi (1pm - 2pm); re-broadcast
        The holiday season isn't the same without a few heartwarming 
tales from friends. Join Kojo and a panel of storytellers for a 
rebroadcast hour of folktales and parables for kids of all ages. 
Guests: 1. Megan Hicks, storyteller; 2. Tom Stamp, storyteller; 3. 
Anne Sheldon, storyteller

Talk of the Nation with Neal Conan (2pm - 4pm)
        Hour one: PAKISTAN & THE WAR ON TERRORISM: Although Pakistan 
is a key US ally, some military and intelligence officials there 
still have ties to the Taliban and some tribes might be harboring 
fugitives. Pakistan and the war on terrorism.
        Hour two: HOLIDAY MUSIC: You've heard of "Winter Wonderland" 
and "The Christmas Song" but do you know "Christmas in the Ghetto" or 
"I Won't Be Home for Christmas?" Neal talks with NPR music experts 
Mark Mobley and Ned Wharton about holiday music, the good, the bad 
and the ugly.
