The Diane Rehm Show (10am - Noon)
        Hour One: Waterborne Illness: Public water supplies are
treated to kill any organisms that could make you sick, but
waterborne viruses, bacteria and parasites continue to cause illness
and even death all around the world. A panel talks about how giardia,
cryptosporidium, E. coli and other nasty "bugs" still plague
Americans, and what's being done about it. Guests: Dr. Dennis
Juvanek, Centers for Disease Control; Dr. David Parenti, George
Washington University; Dr Dennis Long, NIAID; Steve Schaub, EPAx
        Hour Two: David Sibley: David Allen Sibley began drawing
birds when he was only7 years old, and hasn't stopped yet. Last fall,
"The Sibley Guide to Birds"(Knopf) was published to great acclaim.
The author-illustrator joins Diane totalk about his lifelong passion
for birdwatching.

Fresh Air with Terry Gross (Noon - 1pm)
        DARREN STAR, the creator of several successful TV series.
He's responsible for hits like "Sex and the City," "Beverly Hills
90210" and "Melrose Place." Also, Broadway music director Paul
Gemignani <JEM in YAHN ee>. He'll receive a lifetime achievement
award at the Tony Awards on Sunday.

Public Interest with Kojo Nnamdi (1pm - 2pm)
        An Urban Institute study of urban parks

Talk of the Nation with Juan Williams (2pm - 4pm)
        Hour One: SUPREME COURT/ CASEY MARTIN/ PGA: The Supreme Court
has decided that golfer Casey Martin may use a golf cart due to a
circulatory problem, while his colleagues in the PGA can't. The
implications the ruling has on professional sports and the disabled.
        Hour Two: CROSSING THE WATER: WORKING WITH TROUBLED BOYS:
We've tried boys as adults in the courts, sent them to prison, sent
them to boot camp-style reform programs to get them to shape up. Are
there other, more positive options to help mixed up, often violent
boys? How to help boys get control of their own lives and stay out of
jail.

All Things Considered (4pm - 7pm)
        Gay teenagers talk about their identities, their schools, and
their families. More people are identifying themselves as gay,
lesbian or bisexual - and more of them are finding acceptance -
during their teen years. The Changing Face of America series presents
some of their views and experiences.
