DETAILS:

The Todd Mundt Show (9am - 10am, repeated 7 - 8pm)
Each year it accounts for 76 million illnesses, 324 thousand
hospitalizations, and over 5000 deaths in the US alone. What it is?
Food poisoning. Dr. Robert Tauxe of the Centers for Disease Control
and Prevention says we can expect more surprises soon.

The Diane Rehm Show (10am - Noon)
Hour One: Campaign Finance Reform: The McCain-Feingold
campaign finance reform bill is back in the news. A panel talks about
what chances campaign finance reform legislation has in Congress and
in the White House, and how it might be altered in the legislative
process. Guests: Jan Baran, attorney; Tom Mann, Brookings
Institution; Meredith McGehee, Common Cause
Hour Two: Nina Bernstein: Journalist Nina Bernstein focuses
on one of New York City's most complex and challenging foster care
cases in her new book "The Lost Children of Wilder" (Pantheon). She
joins Diane to explain the "Wilder" case -- in which both a teenage
girl and her baby son were let down by the system, and to talk about
how the case changed New York's child welfare system.

Fresh Air with Terry Gross (Noon - 1pm)
Actor JARED HARRIS. He played John Lennon in the V-H-1 movie,
"Two of Us." He was the Russian taxi driver in "Happiness," and he
played the title character in "I Shot Andy Warhol." His new movie is
"Shadow Magic." It's based on the man who introduced silent movies to
imperial China.

Public Interest with Kojo Nnamdi (1pm - 2pm)
Tech Tuesday: High-tech Homes: IS YOUR OFFICE DOING A POOR
JOB OF MANAGING ITS KNOWLEDGE? CAN HIGH- TECH SENSORS MAKE YOUR HOME
MORE AWARE? ON THIS TECH TUESDAY, COLUMNIST JOHN MAKLOUWICH (
MA-coal-a-which) JOINS KOJO FOR A GLIMPSE INTO THE DIGITAL FUTURE.
Guest: 1. John Makulowich, Senior Consultant, In House, Inc; and
columnist, "On the Ledge" usatoday.com

Talk of the Nation with Juan Williams (2pm - 4pm)
Hour One: SUPERPOWER RELATIONS: The U-S government ordered
fifty Russian diplomats out of the country last week. In response,
Russia expelled fifty AMERICAN diplomats. The frosty relationship
between the U-S and Russia has some experts and citizens concerned.
Hour Two: MEDICAL MARIJUANA: Medical marijuana goes to the
high court this week. A federal law says marijuana has no proper
medical use, and makes its distribution a crime. But supporters of
medical marijuana say its use is necessary for their health.

All Things Considered (4pm - 7pm)
Parents of autistic children, searching for a treatment. Many
autism therapies are long on promise and short on science.
