Dear WMUBtalk list,

Thanks to those who responded to my question earlier today. It's
clear that most if not all people did not receive our daily talk show
rundowns for several days recently.

Here's the reason: Most of the time the lists have been sent from my
work computer. In the past I have also been able to send from my home
computer as well. However, last week I switched my home computer
provider from a dial-up service to a cable modem. This required
switching some settings on my email program. When sending out the
notice from home, as I have frequently done lately, I saw the sent
message come back to me as usual, as if it had been distributed to
the entire list. Apparently it was not.

I have not yet figured out how to fix this, but until then there is a
workaround I can use that should do the trick.

Our goal is to get this list out to you before 8 a.m. Eastern Time.
Now that I am aware of the problem, this should be the case.

Please write to me if you continue to miss a daily rundown. We are
pleased to be able to offer this service. The list grows every week,
mostly people in the WMUB listening area but with several people at
NPR and other NPR stations. Please let others know how to sign up,
the easiest way being through our web site (http://www.wmub.org/)
