I took a chance on a trip to Acton Lake just before noon and I lucked out. I 
had about a half-hour observing from the Lodge area with no precip until I 
was forced to quit by the wind picking up. The flock of canvasbacks was 
still there as was a flock of mallards. Here's the complete list:
