At the urging of Jim Michael I stopped out at the pond off 732 north of
Acton this morning. There was a nice collection of waterfowl including
about 5 Redheads, 4 Wigeon, 25 Gadwall, 12 Hooded Mergs, 10 Mallards, and
about 45 Canada Geese
A quick look at Acton revealed a large collection of RB Gulls and Bonaparts
Gulls out over the lake--12 Shovelers, 8 GW Teal, and about 60 Canadas at
the marsh. The Ross's Goose was not visible, but a lot more geese were
sleeping in the vegetation along the shore and it might have been hidden.
Have a great Thanksgiving!!
Dave
