Hi birders,

signs of early spring migration at or below our sunflower feeders today:
we counted 14 male cardinals and 8 male towhees at once.
also: a male goldfinch showed first sign of breeding plumage.

and: about 15 meadowlarks in barren fields near corner of Stillwell Beckett
and Law.
