Randy,
I've used a West publication several times for a couple of different law
classes. It's called Introduction to the Law and Legal System of the United
States 2d Ed. by William Burnham. It's more like a reference book than a
textbook or casebook. It's a bit dry, but I've gotten generally good feedback
from students.
