Now that it looks quite possible that Bush may gain the victory in the
electoral college (if he carries Florida) and yet Gore may win the popular
vote, is it finally time to abolish the electoral college?  If this happens
what do you think the reaction of the American voter will be?

Carolina which went 2-1 for Bush.  Knowing that, I ALMOST didn't vote at
all.  Is the lesson here, that your vote counts ONLY in a state where the
