I agree, tech support has been rather unresponsive the last couple of months.
They even closed an open ticket on me without my approval, I think just tidying
things up before the acquisition. Although I haven't been beating down their
door, I admit. I was going to let the dust settle a bit before starting that.
For the record, I did the two step update from 3.1.12 to 3.2.something and then
to 3.4.0, patiently following the upgrade notes and readmes from the web site.
The upgrade process took place without a hitch, database and settings migrating
intact. I kicked all the users out of the tables only after I updated. I'm
mostly trying to find out to where things have moved in the interface, and I
think I liked the old color scheme better ;-(
I'm a little confused at the moment why my online user count seems too low, and
other things like that, but I'm not seeing many real issues. Perhaps it's just
been too short a time. We have a handful of systems that are caught with an RPC
vulnerability that we are having a hard time fixing, but that's maybe six out of
about 150 that have authenticated since Monday.
