Colleagues,

I am very happy to announce that our plenary luncheon speaker at the
San Francisco conference will be Larry Sonsini, chairman of Wilson,
Sonsini, Goodrich & Rosati. In keeping with the technology and law
theme of the conference, Mr. Sonsini's firm is a leading technology
firm
representing all segments of the tech industry. Their clients include
Agilent Technologies, H-P, Google, Pixar, and Altera. Mr. Sonsini's
own
specialty is mergers & acquisitions and corporate governance. I am
certain he will have lots to say about the law and technology
interface
and what it means to us as academics teaching the future managers of
this and other industries.
