Well said. I too enjoy the many levels of discussion here. That's what the 
subject line is for. If someone doesn't care about the thread, hit delete. I 
don't like being on lists with very restricted topic rules. It makes me 
afraid to participate.

This list is very welcoming and open. The contention is just part of life. A 
relationship without conflict isn't much of a relationship. Maybe that 
applies to discussion lists.
