I noticed that there is no longer a way to download Nessus plugins from
within Clean Access as there was with Perfigo. Is this thanks to the
folks at SourceForge now charging for "opensource" software?
Anyway, I am not using the Nessus scan for this reason - I ran out of
time to research that piece before move-in. How do I get the Nessus
plugins and load them on to Clean Access?
Thanks!
Jeff

Authenticated Students get 128k up, 512 down. We've offered the agent as
an
option, but rely on the Nessus scan. Here's what I'm checking:
[12209] * Microsoft Hotfix for KB835732 (SMB check) (Sasser Worm)
[12054] * ASN.1 Parsing Vulnerabilities (NTLM check)
[11707] Bugbear.B web backdoor
[10150] Using NetBIOS to retrieve information from a Windows host
[11032] Directory Scanner
[10870] Login configurations
[11808] * Microsoft RPC Interface Buffer Overrun [MS03-026]
(MsBlast)
[12252] * Korgo worm detection
[10394] SMB log in
[11011] SMB on port 445
[10330] Services
[11149] HTTP login page
[10400] SMB accessible registry
[10501] Trinity v3 Detect
[12266] * Dabber worm detection
[11890] * Buffer Overrun in Messenger Service (real test)
[12029] * MyDoom Virus Backdoor
[10428] SMB fully accessible registry
[12063] * Bagle.B detection
[10107] HTTP Server type and version
[10662] Web mirroring
[10386] No 404 check
[10646] * Lion worm
[11839] Possible RPC Interface compromise
[12219] * Sasser Virus Detection
[11187] 4553 Parasite Mothership Detect
[11733] Bugbear.B worm
[12070] Netsky.B
There's probably better, but this is where we are.
