Thanks to everyone sending these. I will be glad to compile a list an
send
it back out to everyone. If you emailed me directly, just send me a
note if
you want yours kept private, otherwise I will compile one list and send
it
out to the group.

Thanks a lot for your help!

Pam

Enviro
nment of Business

I would love to see other's objectives for courses. We are in the
process
of looking at this issue. My current objectives are:

* Demonstrating an understanding of key legal principles
impacting
business.

* Developing critical thinking and reasoning skills to analyze
the
business implications of legal decisions and legal implications of
business
decisions and the ethical implications of both. Included in this
objective
are demonstrating these skills through oral and written communications.

* Developing the ability to research legal issues using resources
readily available to business people.

* Developing creative problem solving techniques in both
individual and
team settings and the ability to work without direct supervision.

Looking forward to seeing others' objectives. Thanks.

Subject: Request for your course goals and objectives for Legal
Environment
of Business

Hi Everyone,

If you have a minute, could you please reply to this email with your
course
goals and objectives for your legal environment course. I am revising
mine,
and writing an article about using a mock trial role play in class.

Here they are currently:

Understand the ways in which law is made and changed.

Understand the ways to resolve disputes both inside and outside the
court
systems.

Understand the basic concepts that make up the criminal law.

Understand the concept of a legal duty and appreciate the consequences
of a
breach of duty.

Be better prepared to react to legal situations which arise in business
and
life.

Thanks for your help,

Pam
