	In my view, having Joe Biden and Ted Kennedy evaluate a Supreme Court

	nominee's ethical values is neither laughable nor tragic.  I don't

	buy the argument that Biden's or Kennedy's ethical flaws are

	significantly more serious than the ethical flaws of numerous members

	of the US Senate or the US government generally, including President

	GW Bush.
