I forgave Nixon for imposing wage and price controls the Friday
evening before the Monday morning I was scheduled to receive a $0.25 per
hour raise when Nixon ended the draft on the Friday evening before the
Monday morning I was scheduled to be drafted.
I would have forgiven Nixon for all of Watergate if he had, instead
of flashing a double victory sign (I really doubt he had become a peacenik
regardless of his Quaker beliefs) he had said, with irony and
foreshadowing, "You won't have Dick Nixon to kick around anymore. Because,
gentlemen, this is my last press conference."

Yes, I finally forgave Tricky Dick. It was sometime after I realized
that while "He's the One" Ronnie was "The Other One".
