Am I alone in wondering why you are so quick to provide Justice Doris with an alibi? The bench was not that far from the kitchen.

I think it really happened and was decided by the Rhode Island Supreme Court while my former father-in-law Robert Doris was on the bench.

I applaud most of this. I reserve my position on Capital Punishment.

However, the 'poodle in the microwave' story - the Consumers' Association (like yours) over here once put up a £1000 prize for the cite of the case. I think I heard that it stemmed from a commencement speech by a judge at a Law School.

Anyone know more?

Peter.
