At the University of Connecticut our course prefix is BLAW. At Seton Hall University the course prefix is I still believe BLAW.

Not to be too direct but what business is it of poly sci to interfere with your naming prefixes? Is this because of the myth that poly sci is a requirement or even an advantage to applying for law school? If I recall correctly, admissions offers have stated at such study is at best no advantage and at worst a disadvantage because there are so many majors of this type applying.

Subject: Another Query -how are Law courses designated

Hi all:
We have used the prefix LAW for all of our business law courses but now there are political science people who want them labeled BUS since we don't have a law program.
Any advice
