Hello students:

I am very excited to hear that all of our 1st year students and
several 2nd years (4 so far) will be joining some of our interns and
faculty in the trip to Anaheim for the NASP conference this year
!! I also have heard that some of you are interested in assisting
interns in presenting.... There is plenty of opportunity to do so, as
only 2 interns (thus far) have definite plans to attend the
conference, and there are a total of 9 intern posters as well as
faculty presentations.

I have also secured additional funding for students who
present: Dean Lloyd has indicated that EAP will support each
presenter (1st, 2nd, and interns) with $100 for those who don't
receive additional funding from intern school district.

To begin the process of "matching" students with interns I'll send
out poster presentation topics, etc. soon. For right now, 2nd years
who are attending NASP, please email me a) if you are already
presenting with a faculty or intern or other and b) if you are
interested in assisting in the preparation and presentation of an
intern poster. I am also collecting information from interns to help
with setting up this process. First years, I have your information
from last week's meeting so only email if changed.

thanks,
Katherine
