So, is this going to be an exam question in BLAW classes throughout the
country?

It's a great idea but I don't know if it's worth keeping Bill out of
prison. I got your back, Bill.

Wouldn't it be nice if the ALSB coordinated a web page in conjunction
with the proposed panel discussion that posted useful business-law
related clips along with explanations of how the panel participants use
the clips in their classes to demonstrate certain legal principles.
This web page then would be available to all ALSB members...for a long
time... so that they could benefit from the panelists' insights even if
they are unable to attend the event. Although posting a compilation of
clips for download may not be regarded as a fair use, posting in this
fashion may better satisfy the parameters of fair use since the clips
are being copied by the ALSB and made available to members to educate
ALSB members on methods to improve their teaching. And if the members
gain access to the clips lawfully, then perhaps they should be allowed
to stream those clips from the website during class sessions under
section 110(1) of the Copyright Act. Could this be a way to keep Bill
Shaw out of prison?
