“Fiesta! Fiesta!”
Saturday, November 18, 2006
7:00p.m. – midnight
The goal of this event is to promote cultural
diversity on campus through live Latin music,
dance, and authentic Latin food dishes. Over 200
people enjoy this cultural festivity every year,
and the excitement and enthusiasm continues to grow.
We will be featuring Cincinnati’s Super HOT
award-winning Latin band, Salsa Caliente, who
specializes in sizzling salsas, manic mambos,
beautiful boleros, dance-till-ya drop meringues,
explosive rhythms and a fun-filled, high energy
show. The twelve-piece group features musicians
from Cincinnati, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Mexico
and Peru. When these caballeros play, it’s time
to polish up those dancing shoes and get ready for the hottest show in town!
Salsa Caliente will be teaching individuals how
to salsa, meringue, tengo, bolero, cha-cha etc.
for the first hour (7:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.). From
8:00p.m. to midnight there will be music,
dancing, food, and contests for all!! “Fiesta!
Fiesta!” truly will be a worthwhile event to attend.
