I just have to pass this on to the list..cannot guarantee it's correct id. either. But, feel that I have to put out a word on it...just in case.
I got a report that 4-Black-bellied Whistling ducks were seen last week at an area known as Springhill? In Miami county. From what I know, a "birder" did go look at them, and confirme the id. But, his/her name is unknown, or if this could have been tame birds at a farm pond?
Anyone around that area, who could check this one out for us? Like I say, could be a "wild goose chase", and I would not blame anyone for not going at all.
