Dear colleagues,
I am running an R workshop (R computing in EEEB research -- BOT 790D)
this semester. Please see attached announcement (first sent in Dec.
2006).
We will have an organizational meeting this coming Tuesday (9 January).
If you know you want to participate, please sign up (BOT 790D) and come
on Tuesday to help determine the meeting time.
If you think you might be interested, please come and learn more.
On Tuesday, we will discuss, among other items:
-- A good meeting time.
-- A good meeting place. This may depend on computer room
availability. In the past, in similar fora (forums?), we have all
brought laptops into a room, and we discussed various issues that each
of us were grappling with. I am exploring other possibilities, including
a computer lab that would allow us to share code snippets and data more
easily, and to provide examples on a single overhead. All ideas are
welcome.
-- General workshop information.
Below is the original PDF announcement from last semester.
Cheers,
Hank
