I birded East 72nd Street in Cleveland for a couple hours with Emil Bacik
and Jerry Talkington. Larry Richardson joined us toward the end. There
were a fair number of gulls around. We managed to pick out 5 lesser
black-backed gulls (4 adults and one 1st winter), 1 glaucous (adult), and 1
Iceland (1st winter) amongst the many herring and ring-billed. there were
small numbers of Bonaparte's and great black-backed gulls also. The water
was mostly open.
