Kyle,

I should have been more explicit on my problem and the resolution. I had
originally loaded 4.0.5 from faulty media and got the grub lines and
long boot time. When I did my first upgrade to the 4.1.1, I went with
the update only by uploading the upgrade to the CAS and CAM, and that
did not correct the grub errors and long boot time. It was only
corrected when I actually used good physical media to re-image the
appliance...

install with kernel panic

Upgrading from 4.1.0.3 to 4.1.1 on a Dell PE 750 gives me a problem with
grub too. First it says, "GRUB Loading stage1.5." and then it says,
"GRUB loading, please wait..." and finally it says "Press any key to
continue" five or six times and then hangs. After over 10 minutes of
hanging, it will finally boot. I uploaded the upgrade to the CAS
instead of using physical media. Anybody know how to fix the problem?

to be the CD that I used to burn the image was at fault. I burned the
image to a better quality CD and reimaged my HP from that and it worked
fine. No more grubs and the interfaces behaved properly.
