At CR 263 and Mahan Denman Rds. there was a large flock of Blackbirds
possibly 500 or more feeding. The flock contained Red-winged Blackbirds,
Brown-headed Cowbirds, Common Grackles and over 50 Rusty Blackbirds. Truly an amazing
number!!!
Also observed were Bald Eagle, Red-tailed Hawk, American Kestrel, Tree
Sparrow, Eastern Towhee and a lone Tree Swallow.
