Things were very similar to yesterday. Very few birds before 8:30 and a
good movement afterward. There were a lot fewer Bonaparte's today and more
red-breasted mergansers. Overhead there was a constant movement of herring
and ring-billed gulls heading west. They are still moving. The only birds
of note were 8 surf scoters.
At my feeders, no crossbill, but there was a redpoll. Today it was a nice
bright colored male.
