Dear Colleagues,
Does your school require that you keep students’ final exams (i.e., students’ work product) for anything other than grade disputes? For example, is student work product ever used for learning outcomes assessment or accreditation review? If so, by whom and how? Does not distribution of a student’s work product for such purposes (i.e., to anyone other than the student) violate the student’s confidentiality rights? Is such student work product ever used in faculty member evaluations? Any and all comments on this issue are invited. Thanks.
Prof. Thomas Giordano
