Today at about 12:30, Sandy Burris spotted a Snowy Egret along Rt 269 south
of the Rt 2 exchange.
There is a large house on the west side of Rt 269 that has two man-made
ponds. The bird was standing in the strip of lawn between the road and the pond
that is in front of the house.
We were on our way home from a short trip to Magee. It was cool and drizzly
but we were able to find some good birds. A copy of my eBird report
follows.
