At Caesar Creek State Park this morning there was a
Common Tern first seen sitting in the water at the end
of Harveysburg Rd, then flying over the water.
In the cove south of Harveysburg Rd (Merganser Bay) a
Franklin's Gull was resting in the choppy water, and it also took
flight. It was a first year bird with a dark tail band, not quite
extending to the edges.
At Rocky Fork State Park there were two Franklin's Gulls - one
adult, one first year - feeding in the water between the south beach
and north beach (closer to the north beach.)
