This just sent in for announcement.

Yesterday we had our 2nd confirmed sighting of a Rufous Hummingbird in
Ohio (that I am aware of). It was in Montgomery, a suburb of Cincinnati.
Homeowners unsure if they want extra traffic at their home to view the
bird. If I find out otherwise, I’ll pass it on.
This is our second confirmed Ohio sighting so far this season.
These birds can show up as late as Jan. 15, so keep a feeder out with an
outdoor spot on it to keep it from freezing from dawn to dusk. More
information about how to keep a winter feeder is on the HBRC website and
on Bob & Martha Sargent’s hummingbirds website, www.hummingbirdsplus.org.

Hummingbird photo.
