Hi all: I just saw 38 WHITE-WINGED CROSSBILLS in my neighborhood near the
College of Wooster. It started yesterday, when a gorgeous male landed above
me while I was shoveling out our driveway (my reward, I guess). Later in
the day, 10 showed up in a fir tree in my backyard. Then I got an email
about a class at the college that saw over 20. Just now, I walked out to
get the mail and had this huge flock. What a great January it's been. Su
Snyder, Wooster
